Herman Cain and numerology.

I've already expressed my concerns...
It's not conservative to trash the entire system of funding the federal government and replace it with something concocted more out of numerology than economics.
... but Michelle Cottle really makes the connection:
In Chapter Nine of This Is Herman Cain—entitled "'Forty-Five'—A Special Number," Cain notes that his "conception, gestation, and birth all occurred within" the year 1945 (true of pretty much anyone born in the last three months of that year). He then launches into a detailed account of how "45 keeps on popping up as I go about the business of being elected—you guessed it—as the forty-fifth president of the United States of America."

Meaningful signposts include events both past (in 1945, Reader's Digest published a version of Friedrich von Hayek's The Road to Serfdom, which Cain ran across last year and loved) and future (in 2013, the year the 45th president will take office, Cain and his wife will celebrate their 45th wedding anniversary.)

In some cases the digits 4 and 5 are only part of a figure, like the times when one of Cain's weekly commentaries ran to 645 words or when the final leg of a campaign trip took place on Flight 1045 traveling at 45,000 feet. At times the 45 in question is only tangentially related to Cain, as when he cites a Las Vegas cam [...]

Dalglish counts on FSG support

Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish is confident owners Fenway Sports Group will continue to back him in the transfer market if he feels the need to strengthen in January.

Left Over Threads


Friends, those who sew and embroider or crochet or knit what ever we do with threads, yarns and floss, we all face one problem. Over a period of time we have lots of left over threads of different colours, weights and so on. So what to do with them?

What I do is wrap them on unused visiting cards, or sari fall cards, or the empty spools left over after using the threads or just wind them up and tie them. I use them for:


1. Small projects like embroidering handkerchiefs or napkins etc 
2. For making jewellery, friendship bracelets < [...]

Someone from outside says milk. Mami says I'm coming. He says milk again. Mami says I'm coming. Are the cows going to run away? She steps outside with a pan. Raghav comes in the kitchen and asks has anything been made for breakfast? I have to go out for some important work. Mami says yes I've made some breakfast. Shestarts listing a large name of different food items that she made (not really). Raghav says that much you made? Anyways bring the food to me, I have to go out. mami says I'm bringing it. Mami gives him a plate with one roti and a sabzi. Raghav says what is this? You were just listing a name of really good food items. Where is all of that? Mami says in dreams. Because now in this house all those food items will only be made in our dreams. And you also eat them in your dreams. Lata and Didi aren't here. I have to do all the chores alone. Everyone will come to eat, but no one will come to help. Kanika's cell rings. Kanika says hello. Yes Tiwari ji. I was waiting for your call. When's the shoot? The guy says madam for that project we needed a much more slim model. So you have been replaced. Kanika says what? But Tiwari ji 4 months ago you had signed me. The guy says madam your weight has increased in those 4 months. Maybe you have forgotten that. Kanika hangs up. She thinks to herself the child isn't even born yet and my life is ruined. I will have to do something.

None of the really big issues could be resolved until Sirte fell, and Gaddafi was killed or captured.

Now, at last, "national liberation" can be declared, and a transitional government formed. But many have been dreading this moment, because they see it as the moment of truth. Consider this: all recent Western interventions, from Afghanistan to Iraq, started suspiciously well. Regime change was the easy bit. Only afterwards did trouble start – and this may yet prove to be the case in Libya.

One of Real Madrid's favourite sons believes current coach Jose Mourinho does not share the same values as the famed Spanish club.
Guti had spent his entire career at the Bernabeu before moving to Besiktas in 2010 and said in an interview that while he respects the Portuguese tactician's strong character, Mourinho's antics were not in keeping with the club's traditions.

She trusted him so and he cant break her trust like this by doing friendship with cheap girls like this. He got angry and threw the mug in the bucket and said that she hasnt asked him before fasting and left from there, Amma stopped him and said that he will be cursed by married woman, he got angry and said what curse he will get, she dont understand he will explain it to her, he took out his phone and called Neelu and committed her that he will come and they will be going out and will roam around till night on the other hand Neelu got excited after listening this and said that she will be ready in a dhink chak way.
Outside LN Runjhun was standing and waiting at the steps of mobile centre for Guddu just then Bantu came down and was loading some saris in the rikshaw, he called Runjhun and said that he borrowed some saris and got rikshaw on rent as Billo rani told him to do some work so he is going out , before going out he wanted her to touch the saris, he also said that he knows the one who work hard God will help them only but just for him she should touch the saris for once and under pressure she touched them. As she touched the saris Guddu saw her as there was eye contact she moved her hand in fear and came towards Guddu. They were standing face to face, Guddu asked her why is she looking at him like that if she wants to say something she should say it quickly. Runjhun said that she has kept Karva Chaut fast for him and she will open her fast by drinking water from his hand and that he should come early to home in the night. Barca academy to hone new superstars

While Europe's elite are still figuring out how to stop the Barcelona machine from winning, the Catalans already have a plan in place to stay on top for years to come.
On Thursday, the club unveiled its new academy centre for youngsters - a new production line bent on creating the next Lionel Messi or Andres Iniesta to take the club forward when their current crop of superstars retire.

No Post-Mortem For Gaddafi As Debate Over Burial Continues -- The Telegraph

Military commanders in Misurata rebuffed demands for a post-mortem on the body of Col Muammar Gaddafi on Saturday as reports said that tribal relatives said the corpse should be handed over for ritual burial.

Misurata fighters who captured Gaddafi refuse to accept any blame for the dictator's death and have rejected international demands for a medical report into the cause of death.

"There will be no post-mortem today, nor any day," Misurata military council spokesman Fathi al-Bashaagha said. "No one is going to open up his body."

Hildebrand completes Schalke move

Timo Hildebrand has completed his return to the Bundesliga by joining Schalke on a contract until the end of the season.
The Royal Blues announced earlier an agreement had been reached with the former Germany international, with the move dependent on a medical which he duly passed on Friday afternoon.
Schalke moved for the former Stuttgart, Valencia and Sporting Lisbon goalkeeper in the wake of a serious knee injury suffered by regular number one Ralf Fahrmann.
That left coach Huub Stevens with only youngster Lars Unnerstall and the more experienced Mathias Schober available.

Schalke boss Huub Stevens was unable to find fault with his side after they defeated AEK Larnaca 5-0 in Cyprus on Thursday night.
The result maintained the Dutch coach's perfect record in the Europa League since taking over from Ralf Rangnick while it earned the Royal Blues top spot at the halfway point in Group J.

District Institute of Education and Training Common Entrance Test (DIETCET) 2011 into Govt DIETs/Private Elementary Teacher Training Colleges for the year 2011-2012 as per the schedule given below at Wesley Girls High School, Opp: Keys High School, Near Secunderabad Railway Station, Secunderabad.

The Candidates Should Produce All The Certificates in Original along With a Set of Xerox viz:

(1) DIETCET-2011 Rank card & Hall Ticket.
(2) Pass Certificate/Memorandum of Marks of qualifying examination.
(3) Date of Birth Certificate (SSC).
(4) Study certificates for preceding seven years ending with the year in which the candidate first appeared for the qualifying examination in respect of regular candidates having school study and local area certificate for specified seven years period in respect of those who have studied privately by virtue of residence for the part or specified period as the case may be issued by Tahasildar concerned.
(5) Integrated Community Certificate in case of BC/SC/ST candidates.
(6) Latest Income certificate of parents of SC/ST/BC candidates.claiming fee exemption if the income from all sources is less than Rs.1,00,000/- pa.
(7) Residence certificate of Father/Mother for a period of 10 years in AP, excluding the period of employment outside AP from Tahasildar, in case of Non Local candidates.
(8) Transfer Certificate.

But her property wasn't safe at all, she found, when she returned to Naval Station Great Lakes, Ill., this past summer.

Unbeknownst to Roberts, the personal property office had converted the storage bill to her expense, and when the bill went unpaid, the storage company sold everything she owned.
