One year ago, German cyber security expert Ralph Langner announced he had found a computer worm designed to sabotage a nuclear facility in Iran. The Stuxnet worm is now recognized as a cyber super weapon, and it could end up harming those who created it.

One year ago, German cyber security expert Ralph Langner announced he had found a computer worm designed to sabotage a nuclear facility in Iran. It's called Stuxnet, and it was the most sophisticated worm Langner had ever seen.

In the year since, Stuxnet has been analyzed as a cyber super weapon, one so dangerous it might even harm those who created it.

In the summer of 2010, Langner and his partners went to work analyzing a malicious software program that was turning up in some equipment. Langner Communications is a small firm in Hamburg, Germany, but Langner and the two engineers with whom he works know a lot about industrial control systems. What they found in Stuxnet left them flabbergasted.

"I'm in this business for 20 years, and what we saw in the lab when analyzing Stuxnet was far beyond everything we had ever imagined," Langner says.

"Arsenal won't spend next January"

Despite Arsenal's terrible start to their Premier League season, chief executive Ivan Gazidis has insisted they will not spend more in January to reinforce.

After the departures of Cesc Fabregas, Samir Nasri and Gael Clichy in the summer, Gunners boss Arsene Wenger went on a spending spree, splashing out £12 million on Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, £10 million on Mikel Arteta, £8 million on Per Mertesacker and £7 million on Andre Santos to add to the £10.5 million he had already spent on Gervinho.

This is the third video I edited from footage Meade shot in Madison today, as Margie Phelps and others protested the ordination of a gay minister. This 5-minute clip includes Phelps's explanation of her mission and the response from the counterprotesters on the other side of the street.

Watch for the sweet old woman at 2:08. She takes a close look at Phelps and then continues across the street. At 2:46, Phelps uses a shocking epithet against the new minister. At 3:11, Meade crosses the street and we hear their song about "marching on the side of love."

Sailors Won't Face Discipline For Close Call With Fighter Jet, Navy Says -- Stars And Stripes

YOKOSUKA NAVAL BASE, Japan — A descending Navy fighter jet's close encounter with two sailors on the USS George Washington's flight deck did not result in disciplinary action, but a video of the incident is being used for safety training throughout the Navy, officials said Friday.

The 11-second video, which was captured by a ship camera Sept. 25 and later uploaded privately to YouTube, shows two sailors walking on to the flight deck while an F/A-18 Super Hornet was clearly approaching.

The YouTube clip has since received nearly 100,000 hits, most of which came during the past 24 hours.

12 Somalis killed in US drone attack

At least twelve people have been killed and several others injured in a US drone attack in southern Somalia near the border with Kenya, Press TV reports.

On Saturday, the US military used a remote-controlled unmanned aerial vehicle in an attack on Afmadow city that left twelve civilians dead and 23 more injured.

Afmadow city is located in the middle of the Juba region, 620 kilometers (385 miles) south of the Somali capital Mogadishu.

A Somali military official, speaking on condition of anonymity, told Press TV that the strike sought to target an al-Shabab base in the area, but the casualties were all civilians.

Earlier in the day, 16 civilians were killed and 50 others wounded in another US aerial attack on Afmadow city.

In the wake of the US drone attacks, thousands of local residents are leaving Afmadow city, fleeing for their lives.

Somalia is the sixth country where the United States has used remote-controlled drone aircraft to launch deadly missile strikes.

The US military has also used drones in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Libya, Iraq, and Yemen.

Somalia has not had a functioning government since 1991, when warlords overthrew former dictator Mohamed Siad Barre.

The midfielder is in high demand, with both Barclays Premier League big-spenders keen to snap him up, as the Italian's contract renewal talks seem to have hit a snag.
