This blog post tells you about the syllabus of NDA Examination, so that you can find what to study for the exam. UPSC (who conducts the exam) has not specified the syllabus of any particular board (such as CBSE etc.) syllabus as the syllabus for NDA exam – If you are studying in Class-XII of any 10+2 pattern board school, than your Class-XI & XII syllabus is good enough to do well in the exam.
Before we go on to find the details of the syllabus of NDA Examination, it may do well for you to know that there are two papers in NDA written test and both are objective type (multiple choice) question paper: Paper-1. Mathematics : 300 Marks. Duration-21/2 hours. Paper-2. General Ability Test : 600 Marks. Duration-21/2 hours. Besides above total 900 marks, you need to compete for another 900 marks in SSB interview, after you qualify in the written test.

Coldplay, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds and Florence And The Machine have been revealed as the biggest selling rock acts of 2011.
According to The Official Charts Company, Coldplay scored both the biggest selling rock single of 2011 with 'Paradise', which sold over 410,000 copies and the biggest selling album with their fifth effort 'Mylo Xyloto', which sold over 900,000 copies despite only being released in October.
Noel Gallagher's debut solo effort was the second biggest seller in the album stakes with sales just shy of 500,000. He was followed by Florence And The Machine, who were narrowly in front of Foo Fighters and Mumford and Sons.
Elbow were sixth, Kasabian seventh, Snow Patrol in eighth and in their best ever sales year Noah And The Whale were ninth, just ahead of Arctic Monkeys' 'Suck It And See', which was in 10th place.
In the singles chart, Goo Goo Dolls' 'Iris', which was first released in 1998, sold 264,000 copies in 2011 after it was brought back to life by an X Factor performance to become the second biggest selling rock single of the year.
Birdy was the third largest seller with her cover of Bon Iver's 'Skinny Love', while Coldplay made their second appearance in the chart at Number Four, just ahead of Noah And The Whale, who were fifth with 'L.I.F.E.G.O.E.S.O.N.'

The Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) season 2 kick-started at the Sharjah cricket stadium on Friday (Jan 13th 2011). Salman Khan was present at the opening ceremony of CCL 2, which for the first time will have teams battling it out on an international venue. The Mumbai Heroes backed by Salman Khan announced Sharjah Cricket Stadium as their home ground.
The event had a grand opening ceremony with performances by Atif Aslam and Devi Prasad. Salman Khan said, "We had a bad season last time but our boys are better prepared this time and we hope to do well". Team owner Sohail Khan said, "The boys have been practicing well, we have a good team, a good coach and hope to perform better this time".
The first match between Mumbai Heroes and the Telugu Warriors after the inaguration ceremony, ended in a draw. On January 14th, Saturday, the Mumbai Heroes will again take on the Chennai Rhinos for the 2nd mach in the series at the same venue.

Saif Ali Khan's sister, Soha Ali Khan has revealed to a TV channel recently that her brother Saif will tie the knot with Kareena a week after the release of 'Agent Vinod'.
Sriram Raghavan's 'Agent Vinod', which has the star couple as its lead, will hit the theatres on March 23rd. A week after that would ideally mean March 30th. So if our calculations and their decisions are correct, then we can expect to see Saifeena happily wedded by the 1st of April. And let's just hope this is not a prank!
