Petrol Price Hiked by Rs. 1.82 per Litre | Petrol Price Increased 4th Time in a Year

Oil Companies have decided to increase petrol prices by Rs. 1.82 per litre with effect from midnight tonight.This is the fourth hike in prices this year.Petrol will now cost Rs. 68.84 a litre in Delhi, Rs. 71.16 a litre in Chennai, Rs. 73.71 in Mumbai, Rs. 71.98 in Kolkata and Rs. 75.64 in Bangalore.The BJP has reacted swiftly slamming the government BJP spokesperson Rajiv Pratap Rudy said Its not just another fuel price hike its another instance of midnight deceit.And senior leader Sushma Swaraj tweeted as news of the hike came Petrol price hiked again another blow to the common man from an insensitive Government.

In a statement the BSP supremo said that the hike of the petrol prices is a cruel joke on the people of the country.The three major state-owned oil companies Indian Oil, HPCL and Bharat Petroleum had last hiked petrol prices by Rs. 3.14 a litre on September 16.Prices were first raised this year by Rs. 3.5 per litre on January 16 and by Rs. 5 per litre on May 15.

Latest news about legendary singer-composer Bhupen Hazarika died of multiple organ failure at a Mumbai hospital, plunging millions of fans across the country, especially those in eastern India, into gloom. He was 85. This is really a heart touchable news about Bhupen Hazarika now "It was a multi-organ failure. The end came around 4.30 pm," Jayanta Saha, chief PRO at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital, said.

The Navy's X-47B killer drone is about to get a lot more lethal. Nine months after the 38-foot-long, bat-shaped flying robot took off from Edwards Air Force Base in California for its very first flight, the Navy has announced it will add an aerial refueling capability to at least one of the two X-47 prototypes sometime in 2014.

The decision to add refueling software and equipment was published on the federal government's business opportunity website and first reported by InsideDefense. (Alas, the piece is behind a firewall.)

the epi starts of with virat going to a hill to find the baba, he wonders where the baba will be. As he is searching an SMS comes on his phone (its from his mom saying to get the real baba and not the fake one) but he doesn't read it since his phone dies on him. He complains about his phone and starts to look for the baba again. from behind a tree the real baba and Balram are watching virat and Balram is telling the real baba that make sure you do everything according to plan, the baba says but this person is looking for the fake baba and im the real one so Balram tells him that yes you are the real one but he doesn't know that and you have to go to him and pretend like you are the fake one. The baba goes behind virat and scares him by his sudden appearance, the baba says that you were looking for the baba and you took this long you know how long the baba was waiting for you. And virat is like whatever, where is the baba? Baba freaks out and says im right in front of you and your asking where I am you fool I can curse you and transform you in to a mouse. Virat says I know you're a fake so don't get to real and im not scared by your fake threats lets go, he tells the baba that he does nice acting, as well baba's makeup is very nicely done, and that he loved the mouse wala line. Barkha must of really thought and chose you. They leave and Balram says that Barkha didn't chose him I did to make Barkha pay.

Last Week of Travel

This will be the last week that I am on the road. On Wednesday, I will be in Conway at the University of Central Arkansas. That evening I am meeting a group of prospective students in Little Rock for dinner. On Thursday, I am back in Conway and I will be at Hendrix. I'll be back in the office on Friday; however, I will be assisting with a workshop and will be away from my desk.

We are sending 10 more files to the MBA admissions committee this week. I believe I'll have one more batch ready for review at the end of the month. That will wrap up our MBA class for January. After this week's meeting, I am expecting to be at 40-42 and I am hoping to be at 45 at the end of the month. There is usually some attrition before the program begins; I am hoping to have 40 in January.

In my last post, I mistakenly wrote that the game this last Saturday was home against South Carolina. Nhiem pointed out my error. The game was in fact at Vandy. This Saturday's game, November 5, is against South Carolina and it is at home. The Razorbacks are ranked #7 and South Carolina is ranked #9. It will be a very exciting game. The Razorbacks like to give us panic attacks and keep us on the edge of their seats. They are fond of coming from behind. I guess this is better than getting an early lead and losing it. There is another big SEC game this weekend - Alabama and LSU will face off as well. We will play LSU on Friday, November 25th.

My daughter, Zoey, ran in the Conference Cross Country meet last Saturday and placed 3rd. She will run next Saturday in the State Cross Country meet. This is very exciting since she is only a freshman. Next weekend will be quite busy.

Colombian Military Kills FARC Leader

FARC Leader Dies In Colombian Military Operation -- CNN

(CNN) -- The leader of Colombia's main leftist rebel group -- the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia -- died in a military operation in the country's southwest, President Juan Manuel Santos said Saturday.

" I confirm the death of Alfonso Cano. The No. 1 of FARC is dead," Santos said. "This is the most overwhelming blow given to the FARC in all of Colombia's history."

The military operation that took place Friday in the state of Cauca also killed Cano's communications chief, a female friend and members of his security team, Defense Minister Juan Carlos Pinzon told reporters. Cano's chief of security was captured.
