COMMUTING to work in Tehran is never easy, but it is particularly nerve-racking these days for the scientists of Shahid Beheshti University. It was a little less than a year ago when one of them, Majid Shahriari, and his wife were stuck in traffic at 7:40 a.m. and a motorcycle pulled up alongside the car. There was a faint "click" as a magnet attached to the driver's side door. The huge explosion came a few seconds later, killing him and injuring his wife.

Ram Milayi Jodi 7th November 2011 Written Update

Scene 1 ' Gandhi house ' Anukalp and Mona in their bedroom.

Mona is sitting on her bed, Anukalp comes and sits down beside her. He gives her a gift and she looks at it then at him excitedly and surprised. She praises him for bringing her a gift and he says you'll be shocked when you see what it is! She asks him what it is and he tells her to have a look. She hurriedly opens the wrapper and slowly takes the gift out. It's a box of colgate toothpaste. She tells him she thought he might have brought her something really nice, like a gold or diamond set or something and he tells her this box is even more worth than that cos the more colgate, the more gold! She looks at the box and gets excited thinking the more colgate they buy the more gold they'll get. She says he's very intelligent and stares at the boxes happily.

Scene 2 ' Gandhi house ' in the hall, Mona runs to Kinjal with a plate of ladoos.

Mona gives a ladoo to Kinjal and Kinjal asks is this for me?? Mona says yes and asks her whether she doesn't like it. Kinjal shakes her head and says she likes it a lot but you don't give the whole ladoo in prasad! Mona smiles and says my Ambaaji gives so I give too! She gives Kinjal one more. Sejal comes there and asks Mona what she is doing, if Ketkimasi sees her she'll get very angry. Mona tells her she'll get angry only if she sees her. Her and Kinjal both tell Sejal that Ketkimasi won't know. Kinjal runs off with her ladoos and Mona gives one to Sejal. Ketkimasi comes there calling Mona and says stop working like slow news and be fast, how long is she going to take to give out prasad? Mona says its done and Ketkimasi tells her to leave it and give the plate to Sejal instead. Mona hands [...]

DARPA stands for Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, a Pentagon office that researches everything from cutting-edge cybersecurity to hypersonic airplanes.

The agency's director, Regina Dugan, told a gathering of cybersecurity experts Monday that "DARPA will focus an increasing portion of our cyber research on the investigation of offensive capabilities to address military specific needs."

Scene --- GoHam's Room.

Gopi is feeling Uncomfortable while sleeping. Aham's sleep gets disturbed he wakes up and asks her what happened? Why are u so uncomfortable? Gopi is in tears, Aham asks Why are u crying? Gopi tells, Urmila and Rashi ben are very nice and they are there and I am here (See She cares for all, i like it.. but cares for UrShi, I hate it ) Aham tells her to rest properly, Mom and Kaki are taking care of them, Gopi lies down on her bed.

Scene --- Outside Modi House.

Rashi tells, No One has come and these Mosquitoes are behind my life. Urmila tells, Even for me. (Achaaa.. Isko bhi kaant rahe hain ) Rashi tells, If something happens and if we get Dengue or something, we will have to be in the Hospital in some ward, Urmila tells, Shooo.. Rashi tells, See 4 hours has passed but no one has come (Haan and they will not come also ) Urmila tells, Okay we will go to our house, but come back soon, before the Milkman comes. They both leave from there

Today is Dwadasi-means 12th day of the month. As per our Hindu Calender, the 12th day of month of Kaartika is celebrated as Chiluku Dwadasi or Ksheerabdi Dwadasi. Ksheera means milk and it is used in the ceremony observed today.


Today we worship Tulasi plant or Indian Basil along with the plant of Gooseberry, Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi. It is a  ceremony which women perform for health prosperity and happiness of the family-starting with . We offer prayers in the morning and again in the evening. Earthenware lamps using ghee (clarified butter) of Cow. Lamps are also lit on Gooseberries. Like  on Diwali day, we light as many lamps as possible and decorate our house and yards.

It is said that on this day Radha Rani observed this ceremony in Brindavan(or Vrindavan or Vraj a place where Lord Krishna spent his child hood) for Lord Krishna

Passing The Buck In Afghanistan


Helmand Killing Fields To Be Handed Back To Britain -- the Telegraph

The number of American troops in Helmand is to be cut in half leaving Britain to take the lead in the Afghan province, a US general has told The Daily Telegraph.

The substantial reduction in US forces could mean that British forces will resume control of former bases such as Sangin, Musa Qala and Now Zad.

It is understood that the force of 20,000 US marines in Helmand, which has done much to restore stability, could even be cut to almost a quarter of its strength by September next year.

But Gen John Toolan warned that Afghans were "apprehensive" after being told that the American strength could drop to below the 9,000 British troops in Helmand. "They like the situation as it is right now," he said.
