WILMINGTON, Del. — Customer contracts figure prominently in the FBI's criminal investigation of solar panel maker Solyndra LLC, which went bankrupt despite receipt of more than a half-billion dollars in federal loans, according to testimony on Monday.

A top company official testified in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Delaware that the FBI's search warrant affidavit specifically sought information about company contracts.

The official, Ben Schwartz, a vice president and lawyer at Solyndra, was testifying because the U.S. Office of the Trustee said he had refused to answer questions [...]

Kaka has been delighted by his return to form for Real Madrid which sparked a standing ovation for the player during Saturday's 4-1 win over Real Betis.

WI Assemblyman Mark Pocan confronts CEO president Roger Clegg, calling him "some guy" who "came all the way from Virginia" to tell us what "all us flyover country folk don't know."

I've already blogged a few times about the report of the Center for Equal Opportunity — here, here, and here — but what happened today was a hearing at the state Capitol before the Assembly Committee on Colleges and Universities. Clegg was invited to explain the Center's report, which accused the University of Wisconsin undergrad program and law school of violating the Equal Protection Clause of the U.S. Constitution through our use of race as a factor in the admissions process.

Mark Pocan, a Democratic Assemblyman who represents much of Madison, lit into Clegg, as you can see in this clip, shot by Meade. Pocan is saying the report lacks detail on student transfers and academic performance, then yells at Clegg for being "some guy" who has flown in "to pontificate at the importance you brought from the east coast to us." Clegg is a very mild mannered advocate, so the contrast between the 2 men is pretty rich:

WASHINGTON -- A US Cybersecurity alert from Homeland Security -- exposed today by Anonymous -- reveals the United States is concerned about Anonymous and its new hacktivist agenda targeting corporations, including the Tar Sands energy companies and Monsanto.

The concern focuses on the Anonymous Operation Green Rights \ Project Tarmaggedon.

The alert states that Anonymous appears to now have a "hactivist" agenda and that most of the damage is by way of harassment, embarrassment and denials of service.

However, the report also attributes the successful protest of Tar Sands energy companies in Montana this summer to Anonymous.

City of Tucson Defies U.S. and State Constitutions by Shutting Down Occupy Protest

The City of Tucson has chosen to deny the peoples right to peaceful assembly as guaranteed by both the US and Arizona Constitutions. They're doing so by using a city ordinance written as a measure prevent the homeless from living in the parks.  That form of enforcement of a local issue is not required when applied to a political protest as it prevents a peaceful assembly for the common good.

 "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances." – US First Amendment, Bill Of Rights

"The right of petition, and of the people peaceably to assemble for the common good, shall never be abridged." - Arizona Constitution, Article 2 Section 5 [Note that under this section, camping in the park because you are homeless (for personal gain) might be illegal, but for the common good (political protest) it is a protected activity]

 The Arizona Daily Star  reported 53 citizens given citations and charged with vagrancy last Saturday night as they stood up for their First Amendment right to peacefully assemble at the Occupy Tucson event at Amory Park. Rashi finds the ring and sucessfully places it in the box keeping it away from kokila and everyone.
gopi decorates jigar room to suprise rashi and jigar. But rashi again hurts gopi with her words accusing her as show off and asks her to leave her alone.
jigar is all depressed and keeps remembering the incidents from the day he met rashi to this day at present and goes to a temple
Hetal is worried sick as jigar is not lifting his calls and when she found out that jigar dint intimate anyone in the house regarding his whereabouts she gets panicked.
Ahem tries to locate jigar and phones the office to find him not available there.
gopi remmebers the conversatgion of them in the morning and says that jigar might be in temple.
gohem goes to the temple to find jigar there and ahem blasts him regarding his neglicene and asks him to come home. gopi is suspicious regardng jigar behaviour.
Everyoen is relieved to find jigar home and asks him not to be negligent again.

Sikkim Quake - 18 dead - 200 rescued - many trapped

18 people lost their lives as a 6.8 magnitude earthquake hit sikkim on Sunday evening. The death toll is at 18 which includes 7 in Sikkim, 4 in West Bengal 2 in Bihar and 5 in Nepal.

The armed forces have deployed teams for relief and rescue activity, the Centre is also sending emergency teams in. But heavy rains, intermittent power cut, and loss of mobile phone connectivity did hamper rescue operations in the initial hours.

At 6.10 pm on Sunday evening, a 6.8 magnitude earthquake rocked Sikkim. Mangan, 54 km from Gangtok, was the epicentre of that quake that left a trail of death and massive damages in its wake. Meet the Guy Who Snitched on Occupy Wall Street to the FBI and NYPD

The Occupy Wall Street protests have been going on for a month. And it seems the FBI and NYPD have had help tracking protesters' moves thanks to a conservative computer security expert who gained access to one of the group's internal mailing lists, and then handed over information on the group's plans to authorities and corporations targeted by protesters.


Since the Occupy Wall Street protest began on September 17, New York security consultant Thomas Ryan has been waging a campaign to infiltrate and discredit the movement. Ryan says he's done contract work for the U.S. Army and he brags on his blog that he leads "a team called Black Cell, a team of the most-highly trained and capable physical, threat and cyber security professionals in the world." Sevilla 2-1 Sporting Gijon

Sevilla moved up to fourth in La Liga after heaping more misery on winless Sporting Gijon and their under-pressure coach Manuel Preciado.
The rock-bottom visitors battled hard and had their chances but poor finishing and some fine goalkeeping from Sevilla's Javi Varas kept them at bay.
A stunning opener from Manu del Moral set Sevilla on their way and the Andalucians moved two up courtesy of Martin Caceres' close-range header 12 minutes after half-time.
David Barral pulled one back but Sporting could not find an equaliser and remained three points adrift at the foot of the standings.
