ADMK won by 14,608 votes. Paranjothi (AIADMK) - 68,804 votes. KN Nehru - 54,196 votes. 14 independents lost deposit.
Tiruchi West, Tamilnadu Assembly By-Election results are to be announced today October 20 2011 (Thursday). Counting of votes begins at 8 am in the morning.

Chennai Mayor Election Result Progress
AIADMK Mayor candidate Duraisamy got 1,78,521 votes and leading, DMK Candidate Balasubramani got 1 lakh 4 thousand votes, congress got 7 thousand votes. Depending upon the update ADMK will acquire Chennai corporation.
