Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard is set to be handed a new deal which will keep him at the club till 2015.
The England international's current contract will run out in a year at the end of this season.
And according to The Daily Mirror, the Blues are ready to hand the 33-year-old an extension after being convinced by his commitment and quality which he has proven despite doubts over his playing career.
There have been talks that the midfielder is nearing the end of both his international and club careers as managers Fabio Capello and Andre Villas-Boas both relegated him to the bench at the start of the season.
