"Lille gave Inter too much respect"

Lille coach Rudi Garcia was furious with his men after they crashed to a 1-0 defeat to Inter Milan in their Champions League group fixture.
Garcia believes that his side were "too respectful" of the Serie A giants, saying to UEFA.com after the game: " We were too respectful in the first half and Inter managed to break the deadlock".
"Unfortunately, my team were not rewarded for their hard work in the second half as Inter defended well.
"Our stats are good but we were not clinicial enough. We played a coherent team who were united and quite experienced.

US Forces 'Massing On Afghanistan-Pakistan Border' -- The Telegraph

Balika Vadhu -18th October 2011 Written update

Bhairav talks to DS about some vegetable prices in market. Anandi comes there and massages DS's feet. She also talks about fluctuation in veg prices and things that contribute to it. Jagya stands on the stairs and observes all this. Anandi goes to the kitchen. Jagya goes too to get something for Gauri. Anandi makes parathas for Gauri. Jagya thanks her for looking after his family, something he should be doing. Anandi says its her family too and can't even imagine being separated from them.

Next day morning, Makhan comes to Jagat's room and asks him if he wants something as everyone is going out. Jagat asks where and Makhan says they are going to the hospital inauguration. Gauri starts instigating Jagat that his family is so rotten that they care two hoots for him and didn't even bother inviting him etc. Jagya is left fuming.

The hospital inauguration takes place and everyone looks happy and thank Lal Singh profusely for volunteering to be the village doctor. Jagya watches all this from afar and is upset..

Marines Frustrated By Ban On Bracelets Honoring Fallen Warriors -- Stars and Stripes

Marines around the world are angry about a crackdown on bracelets that honor the war dead, which they say is illogical and unevenly enforced, according to a story in the Marine Corps Times.

The Marine Corps uniform policy forbids most jewelry but does allow metal bands with a width less than half an inch commemorating troops who are missing in action or prisoners of war. Marines say the KIA bracelets are identical to the permitted POW/MIA bracelets and serve the same purpose, the story said.
